Highlights
Students should be proud of themselves for being
responsible learners, who demonstrated excellent behaviour on our field trip to
the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. I was
surprised at all the facts and information they remembered when we were writing
about our field trip this week. Thank
you to our parent volunteers who helped with this trip! In Math, students measured each other using
snap cubes and then we put our class in order from shortest to tallest. We discovered some important aspects of
comparing measurements like making sure to use consistent rules (e.g., Do we
measure with feet pointed or flexed?
With shoes on or off?) Next week
we will be working on a clay project related to our Social Studies unit.
