Highlights
and Important Information
In
Math today, we began talking about measurement.
Students used snap cubes to measure a variety of objects around the
classroom.
Tomorrow is our field trip to the Inglewood
Bird Sanctuary. Please:
-Be
on time (the bus leaves at 8:15 am)
-Dress
for the weather. There is a chance it might be windy and rainy tomorrow and we will be going on a hike even if it
rains. It is also fairly cool in the
early morning.
-Don’t
forget your backpack with a nutritious lunch, a water bottle and a
snack. (An extra snack is probably a
good idea as students tend to be hungry on field trips.)
May 4th- May the Fourth be With You
Day- Wear Star Wars themed t-shirts, hoodies,
shoes, etc. Dress in white and black
like Storm Troopers, or yellow and black like the opening credits. If you have something, wear it. If not, no worries!
Order
forms for Panorama Hills School
Yearbooks went home today. If you
would like a yearbook, please make sure you return the form by May 15.
On Thursday, May 24 the school is having a
Celebration of Learning in the
evening from 6-7:30 pm. Students will have the opportunity to
showcase some of the projects they have been working on.
We’ve
had a number of volunteers in our classroom this year and we hope you are able
to attend our Volunteer Appreciation
Celebration on Tuesday, May 15 from
1:30-2:30 pm. Please RSVP to the
school by May 4 so we are able to plan appropriately.
Don’t
forget to check the monthly calendar on the Panorama Hills school homepage.
