Highlights
During Language Arts we are learning how to take jot notes.  We will be using this skill later when we start an animal research project.  In Math we are working on subtraction strategies.  If you know your addition doubles then this helps with subtraction (e.g., 4+4=8, so 8-4=4).  This afternoon we read a story about an Inukshuk.  After that we completed a clay project with another grade 2 class.

Important Information
On Friday morning we will be going snowshoeing in the field!  Please make sure your child brings winter boots, snow pants, mittens/gloves, hat, etc.  An extra pair of dry socks may also be handy.  The school has snowshoes for each student.
