Highlights

Welcome to Grade 2!

These are a few of our first day activities:

-Painted name tags

-Read the story “First Day Jitters” by Julie Danneberg

-Learned school and playground rules

-Made patterns in Math

-Wrote about and drew pictures about our summer

-Played name bingo with our classmates

-Read the story “The Cookie Fiasco” by Dan Santat

Important Information

The blog will be posted every Monday and Thursday by 4 pm. (If one of these days is a holiday, the blog will be posted the next school day).    

Students will need the following items for school:

·     Indoor shoes appropriate for the gym that they can do up independently

·     Water bottle that will go home daily for cleaning

·     Backpack

·     Healthy snack and lunch in a lunch bag if you are staying for lunch

Please label all personal items and make sure students know how to independently put on all clothing.

Have a good sleep tonight!  Tomorrow will be another busy day!
