Highlights
In Math we are working on understanding the concepts of counting
forwards and backwards. We will be
learning to count by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s to 100 both forward and backward.
We watched a video in Science today and tried an experiment
using a paper clip, string, tape and a magnet.
Important Information
A student information sheet was sent
home. Please fill it out and bring it to
Parent Teacher conferences later in September.
Scholastic book orders were sent home
today. If you would like to order books
please return the order sheet by Friday.
Thank you to the whole class for remembering
to bring back their home folders this morning!
It is supposed to rain this week! Please ensure your child is dressed
appropriately (e.g., rain jacket, hat, rain boots, umbrella, etc.) because they
will be going outside for recess.

online payment)
Thurs, Sept. 21st- Meet the Teacher 4-8 pm
Fri, Sept. 22nd- Meet the Teacher 8 am- 12pm
Homework
Practice counting forward by 1’s from 1 to 100 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4,
5, 6…)
Practice counting backwards by 1’s from 100 to 1 (e.g., 100, 99,
98, 97, 96…)
