Highlights
In Language Arts we read the story, “Cool
School.”
Students then used the tinker cart to design their own specialized school.
Next we started mapping and writing about our schools.
In Science, we have been learning about adaptations that different animals have to help them stay warm when it is cold.

Me About:
What was your “Cool School” design? What activities would students do? Where is your school located? Why would someone want to go to your school?
What do polar bears have, or what do they do to
stay warm?
Do you remember how a polar bear cools off if
it is too hot?
