Highlights
In Language Arts, students continued to write
about the different schools they designed. (Please see pictures posted on last weeks blog).
We also visited the library to look at some of the different kinds of
magazines, which students can sign out.
In Math, we began looking at strategies to
subtract 2-digit numbers. For example,
we practiced subtraction using ten sticks and ones and talked about how to
subtract using a 100 chart.
In Social Studies, we learned about different
natural resources in Iqaluit, Meteghan, and Saskatoon.
In Gym, we have been learning different
dances.
We completed our lighthouse art, which will be
on display during student-led conferences next week.
