Highlights
-Thank you for attending
our parent-teacher conferences and for supporting your child with their
learning!
-In Math, we worked on solving word problems with multiple
solutions. Here is an example of one of the
problems: Yesterday,
I put some counters into groups with the same number in each group. I cannot
remember the groups, but I can remember that there were twelve counters. What
might the groups have been?
-We finished our cardboard
community in Social Studies. Students
will be able to bring their projects home on Monday, along with their written
description.
-We worked on editing a
mixed-up message for capital letters at the start of sentences, punctuation and
the correct spelling of “no excuse” words.
-In gym, we practiced staying
in control when dribbling a basketball.

to 20.
