Highlights

We had a great time inline skating!

 

We finished our class story about a gingerbread teacher and each student illustrated their own copy.  Students will bring these stories home next week to read to you.  We had a Science quiz today about magnets. Our next Science unit will focus on Liquids.  In Math, we learned about the terms greatest and least.   

Important Information

Our library is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for students to exchange their books.

Important Dates

Tues, Oct. 31- Black and Orange Day.  No costumes at school.

Homework

-Reading (Students are welcome to use Raz-kids for their daily reading.  Please write the title of the book they read on Raz-Kids on the reading log.)

-Please pick a few words off the spelling list given out at Meet the Teacher for your child to practice each night

Pick any 5 numbers between 0-100.  Can your child put them in order from least to greatest?  Can they order the numbers from greatest to least?

What does the word timid mean?  (We read the story Ten Timid Ghosts)
