Highlights

We are working on becoming stronger readers.  We made a list of things that “great” readers do. Here are some of our ideas:
-Read smoothly (not too fast, or too slow)
-Use expression
-Stop at punctuation like periods and pause at commas
-Read clearly
-Use our strategies to figure out unknown words
-Make sure we understand what we read!
-If we make a mistake, we correct the error, or reread
-Practice, practice, practice!!

Don’t forget that class pictures will be taken tomorrow.  There is also no school for students on Monday.

Important Information

Casino Volunteers Needed!

In just one month it will be time for our big casino fundraiser at Cowboys Casino and we are still short quite a few volunteers. It is very important that we fill the remaining 6 volunteer positions (and a few backups) or we will be in danger of losing the casino and the funds that go with it.

Please follow the link below to sign up. Thank you!
