Highlights
We were fortunate to
have beautiful weather for our field trip to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary on
Monday! We learned about insects, arachnids and crustaceans and we used magnifying
glasses to help us identify different living creatures in pond water. We also
went on a nature walk and saw a number of deer!
This week, we had a
hoop dancing residency during gym class. Our teacher, Miss Jessica, competed in
the hoop dancing world championships and she performed for us on Thursday.
In Science, we have
been watching our caterpillars molt and grow bigger. Each student is also
writing a Diary of a Painted Lady Butterfly.
In Math, we are
starting to talk about data collection and reading graphs. We have also
continued to practice solving Math word problems.
