Highlights

Thank you for coming to our Celebration of Learning to:
-read the Arctic Animal stories we worked on with author Cathy Beveridge
-see our Ukrainian inspired plates
-give us feedback on our boat designs and our self-assessments of our boats
-read the Snowflake stories we typed in Word
-see our weaving projects

We also had an opportunity on Friday to show our Grade 4 buddies our Celebration of Learning work
.
In Math, we worked on using a single unit (e.g., one snap cube) to measure objects.

We will test our boats in water next week.  We are also starting our next Science Unit on Small Crawling and Flying Animals.

Homework
Students will be designing their own clay plates.  Think about what colours, or symbols you could put on your plate to represent you!

Home reading-students are encouraged to pick and read “just right” books from the library or from home.  They may also continue to do Raz-Kids, or read the new home reading books, or the paper books from the school.

Ask me About:
What story are we reading? (Bunnicula). What is it about?
