Highlights
Still no butterflies….
In Math, students had to think of a question and
then collect their data by asking their peers.
In Science, we are finishing our unit on Boats and Buoyancy. We will be testing our boats in water later
this week.
Report cards will be handed out on the last day of
school (Wednesday, June 27). If your
child will not be here on the last day, please send a self-addressed and prepaid
(stamped) envelope to the office and we will mail it to you.

Sports Day- Many volunteers still needed
Our annual Sports Day on Tuesday, June 26th is
quickly approaching! Our Comprehensive School Health Committee has been working
hard to put together fun filled events for students to enjoy. Every year, we
have multiple stations set up that students rotate through ie. relay races,
team building activities, organized sports, and much more! We are asking for
volunteers to help run stations on June 26th. If you are available,
please email your child’s classroom teacher. All volunteers must have current
security clearance. We are looking forward to another successful Sports
Day!
Important Dates
Please
see the school website for the June calendar.
Homework
For
the last week and a half of school, students do not have to sign their home
reading log. Please continue to read at
home though! I also ask that any of the
paper home reading books be returned to school so they can be sorted for next
year. Thanks!
