Highlights
In Social Studies we have continued to learn about Meteghan
and we watched a video about lobster trapping.
During Math we created shapes on a geoboard using elastics. Tomorrow we will finish the novel “The Day of
the Dragon King” which takes place in Ancient China. Spelling assessments will be marked over the
weekend and sent home next week.
Student Voice
Announcement:
Did you know that the Winter Olympics start on
February 9th? Since our February virtue is Caring, every student
will have a chance to write an encouraging message that will be sent to our
Canadian athletes who are competing at the games. We will also have a school
wide spirit day on Friday, February 23rd. All students are asked to participate by wearing a team
jersey or other appropriate clothing from a sport that you play. Please don’t
bring any large equipment. If you don’t think you have anything suitable you
could also wear red or pink to show that you
care.
