Highlights
In Math we started learning how to describe shapes. For example, a triangle has 3 straight lines
and 3 corners (or vertices). We also
started a spelling assessment and will continue to work on this throughout the
week. In Science we learned how polar
animals stay warm.

A class messenger was sent out on the weekend with the first

cards on Feb. 14). If you did not
receive the school messenger email, please contact the office to update, or add
your email address to our system.
Thanks!

Announcement:
Did you know that the Winter Olympics start on
February 9th? Since our February virtue is Caring, every student
will have a chance to write an encouraging message that will be sent to our
Canadian athletes who are competing at the games. We will also have a school
wide spirit day on Friday, February 23rd. All students are asked to participate by wearing a team
jersey or other appropriate clothing from a sport that you play. Please don’t
bring any large equipment. If you don’t think you have anything suitable you
